Freesia Care Instructions

Buy freesias that have at least one flower open on each stem.

Keep them cool at all times and never let the stems dry out.

Strip the leaves from the bottom half of each stem.

Do not arrange freesias with fresh Narcissus.

Always use a preservative, as this helps the buds to open.

Make sure they always have plenty of water and replace the vase water and preservative daily.

Freesias are very sensitive to ethylene gas so keep them away from fruit, car exhausts and cigarette smoke.
