Plant Care Instructions

Plant

Pot plants should be kept frost free and at a constant and moderate temperature, ideally between 65° and 75°F.

Most plants need 12-16 hours of natural or strong artificial light per day. Foliage plants generally require bright but indirect light. Flowering plants generally need direct sunlight.

All plants must be watered regularly. Compost should be moist but not soggy. Plants should either be watered directly into the top of the pot or by immersing the pot into water.

Pot plants require the right level of humidity: In centrally heated rooms the leaves may dry out so mist the plant with water spray regularly.

Place your plant where there is a mild circulation of fresh air but avoid a direct draft. Never place them on top of radiators or electrical equipment such as TV’s.

Give your plant regular food. The best type of plant food is liquid fertilizer, which should be added when watering.

To prevent leaf dust blocking the leaf pores, regularly clean the foliage with a damp sponge and clean tepid water. Alternatively, use a leaf polish. Dead-head flowering plants and they will flower for a longer period.
